Description :
Thanks for inquiring about our vacation and long term rental units in Waikiki . We have several deluxe studio units and 1 Bedroom units on both high and low floors, in the heart of Waikiki . All our units are NON smoking units . We take pride in our clean, deluxe units, which are constantly being upgraded, nicely furnished and equipped with everything we think you will need while you are on vacation . ALL units have a very large lanai (like a porch) which is 9 X 12 feet . Most have an eating area on the lanai and some have a single bed as well .

Bring your binoculars! Views from the lower floors are delightful views of the mountains, city, golf course and the Ala Wai Canal. The higher floors have spectacular panoramic views + they have ocean views!! All have air conditioning, digital cable TV, VCR, towels and linens. The 1 bedroom units have a full kitchen with stove and the studios have a kitchenette with 2 burner cook top. All are fully equipped with utensils, pots and pans, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, & toaster or toaster oven. All units have a private telephone and answering machine, with FREE local calls. You can plug in your laptop computer to the phone line and access the internet if your provider has a local Honolulu access number.
The "Island Colony " is a popular, modern, cement hi-rise building with 44 floors which was built in 1979. There are 4 new elevators to all floors, and 2 to parking. This building is equipped with smoke alarms and a sprinkler system in every unit for your safety. We are located at 445 Seaside Ave in Waikiki, the main tourist area, diagonally behind the International Marketplace and only minutes to Waikiki Beach, shops, food stores, deli, restaurants, banks, post office and entertainment. You will only need a car if going outside Waikiki. The Bus stops at the corner and can take you all around the Island. A monthly bus pass is available. There is public parking available in the building. The current rate is $10.00 per day. Monthly passes are currently available for $150.
AMENITIES: There is a large outdoor rectangular pool, with huge sundeck, lounge chairs, showers, toilets and a spa. Indoors on the 6th level is a coin operated laundry, sauna, massage parlor, and convenience store.
Great Life Tours Office is just down the street and they will be happy to assist you with any tours, luaus, etc. that you desire.
